frequently
asked questions
How does it all
work?
Automatic Routing (CPS)
is carried out at your local Telephone exchange.
The change is seamless.
IDN uses the BT Network to provide IDN's services. BT
is responsible for fault repair over the BT Network
as well as the installation of any BT equipment
and the disconnection of service.
We manage all queries relating to
your line and are your point of contact.
Do we compromise
on quality to get the cheaper calls & line
rental?
Not at all. All calls are
routed using Major carriers.
Does our number
or equipment need to be changed?
No, CPS means that everything
you have stays the same, apart from the bills
which go down!
Will we have to
buy any additional equipment?
There is no need for any
additional equipment because we use existing UK
infrastructure. The routing is all done at the
telephone exchange by CPS (we do all the work).
All we need from you is your postcode, your telephone number and BT Account
number (details on your telephone bill).
What if we are
not a BT Customer?
You don't have to be a
BT customer to benefit but you do need BT lines.
This is not a problem because we can arrange
for migration back to BT for you.
What happens if
there is a fault?
Just call us and we will
take care of the rest.
Will you always
be cheaper than our existing carrier?
Our plan is to always
remain competitive against all service providers.
We continually monitor the environment to ensure
that we provide competitive prices.
How often will
we be billed?
Once a month, all calls
will be fully itemised.
Is there any disruption
to our system?
No, the changeover is
completely transparent.
What's the catch?
None at all - come aboard!
